THE STILL PLACE
WHO WE ARE

The Still Place is a 501C3 Non-Profit Organization who provides rest, renewal, and re-creation to families with children affected by serious illness or loss. Healing and hope are fostered through uniquely designed, single family retreats at no cost to the family. Families enjoy art, nature, spirituality, and southern Appalachian culture and adventures.
FAMILY RETREATS

For families with seriously ill children, we offer the opportunity for families to feel like a family again. When you're with us, we want your family to escape to a world of wonder you otherwise might not have experienced.
BEREAVEMENT RETREATS
​
Still Your Mom and Still Your Dad retreats provide Mothers and Fathers time away and permission to explore and be curious about all aspects of grief in groups of 5-6 participants. Several guided group grief conversations occur amongst activities meant to inspire meaningful connections.
